Comfort Inn Aeroport

I would give zero stars if I could. I am writing this on Oct 4 ten minutes after the following happened. When I arrived I was told my room was given away. When I asked why I wasn’t told they said they had no number to contact me. This is not true because when I showed them I had a missed call from them (without a voicemail) they admitted it was their number. They had booked me a room in another hotel Downtown which was not convenient for me as I had booked an airport hotel due to a work commitment. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was gone for the day. Terrible experience.

We made a reservation through a third party but decided to cancel that and booked directly through the hotel. When I checked on the reservation before our trip it said it had been cancelled. We contacted the hotel and they said one of their employees must have gotten confused and cancelled the new reservation. They also then said the whole hotel had been booked for a group through to the end of March 2024 and all reservations would have to be cancelled anyways. Terrible customer management .

Hotel in a quiet area about 20 minutes from downtown Montreal. Not far from the international airport - for those who care. There is . The receptionist is very kind. There is a coffee stand near the reception for the benefit of the guests. Large and free parking. Beautiful rooms, very clean. Rooms are well equipped. The rooms have two large double beds. The rooms have a TV with a variety of channels. Coffee machine, small refrigerator, microwave, iron, hair dryer, seating area for a laptop. Air conditioner in every room. Clean shower room. There are enough towels, shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. The dining room is in front of the hotel reception The breakfast is good. In conclusion: a recommended hotel.

In order to get to this hotel you need to use a road that splits in a really odd way. Our GPS states it's a roundabout but it really isn't when compared to roundabouts in Ontario. We attempted the intersection twice in order to finally get the correct exit that would take us to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the airport so I can see why it's so popular. Rooms were fairly clean except the carpets are old and dusty. I saw the vaccum that cleaning staff use and it looks like it's from 1985 and definitely doesn't have a HEPA filter on it. So how do you expect the carpets to be clean? Bathroom was clean, everything else in the room appeared clean. Inspected the bedding, no issues. I did not appreciate that this location didn't have an elevator. The stairs up can get quite busy and try juggling your continental breakfast and a hot tea going up the stairs all the while trying to open the door for yourself. The breakfast spread was good (cheese omelettes, bacon and sausage, yoghurt, assortment of bread and bagels, tea, coffee and suitable condiments available). Friendly and helpful staff. They speak English. Stayed one night. Would stay again.
